3. Professional Indemnity and Liability
- All doctors providing consultations or medical services at our clinic operate as independent practitioners and carry their own professional indemnity cover. As such, VitaLync Diagnosis is not responsible for any medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided by individual doctors.
- While we facilitate blood testing services, we are not responsible for any inaccuracies in laboratory results, delays, or any clinical interpretations made by a doctor based on these results.
- We do not provide emergency medical care. In case of a medical emergency, patients should seek assistance from the NHS or their nearest A&E department.
4. Blood Testing and Results
- All blood samples are analyzed by a UKAS 15189 accredited laboratory to ensure quality and accuracy.
- We do not take responsibility for any decisions made by the patient based on test results, including self-medication or treatment without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
- While we endeavor to provide results within the stated timeframe, we are not liable for any delays caused by the laboratory.
5. Patient Responsibilities
- It is the patient's responsibility to provide accurate and complete medical history before undertaking any diagnostic tests.
- Patients should consult with their healthcare provider regarding any abnormal test results or follow-up treatments required.
- Patients must ensure they follow any pre-test instructions provided to ensure accurate results.
6. Payment and Refund Policy
- Payments must be made in full before the service is provided. We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods as displayed on our website.
- Refunds will not be issued once a test has been conducted unless there is a clear error on our part.
- In the case of cancellations, refunds are subject to our cancellation policy, available on our website.
