Extensive Health Panel
The Extensive Health Panel is a comprehensive diagnostic test that evaluates multiple organ systems and provides a detailed overview of your overall health status. It measures key biomarkers across vital body functions, helping detect potential imbalances or early signs of disease affecting the liver, kidneys, heart, thyroid, and more.
What’s included in this panel
This panel examines a broad range of markers that reflect the performance of major organs and metabolic processes:
Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, and Phosphates (Inorganic): Essential electrolytes that regulate nerve function, muscle contraction, and fluid balance.
Glucose and Urea: Indicate blood sugar control and kidney filtration efficiency.
Creatinine: Evaluates kidney performance and waste removal capacity.
Total Protein, Albumin, and Globulin: Assess liver function and protein balance, crucial for nutrient transport and maintaining fluid equilibrium.
Bilirubin (Total, Direct, and Indirect): Measure liver health and bile metabolism, helping identify liver or gallbladder issues.
Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase (GGT), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), and Amylase: Enzyme markers that help detect liver, pancreas, and bone disorders.
Creatine Kinase (CK) and Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH): Evaluate muscle activity and identify possible muscle damage or inflammation.
Uric Acid: Indicates kidney function and potential risk of gout or metabolic imbalance.
Iron: Monitors iron status, essential for oxygen transport and red blood cell production.
Cholesterol (Total, HDL, LDL) and Triglycerides: Assess lipid metabolism and cardiovascular risk factors.
Full Blood Count (FBC) + Differential: Provides insight into red and white blood cell levels, immune health, and potential anaemia.
Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR): Detects inflammation or underlying chronic conditions.
Free Thyroxine (FT4) and Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH): Evaluate thyroid gland performance and metabolic regulation.
C-Reactive Protein (CRP): Identifies inflammation and infection risk.
Ferritin: Measures stored iron and helps diagnose iron deficiency or overload.
