About this profile

The Vitamin Screen checks six key vitamins in one blood sample: Vitamin A, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Folate, and Vitamin B6. It's a wider vitamin-only panel than a basic screen, useful if you want a fuller picture of your vitamin status without the mineral markers included in a combined mineral and vitamin test.

Each of these vitamins plays a different role in the body — Vitamin D for bone and immune health, B12 and Folate for nerve function and red blood cell production, B6 for metabolism and brain function, Vitamin A for vision and immunity, and Vitamin E as an antioxidant supporting cell health. Deficiencies in any of them can build up gradually and cause symptoms like fatigue, low mood, or weakened immunity long before they're obvious.

It's worth considering if you have symptoms that could point to a vitamin deficiency, follow a restricted diet, or simply want to check your nutritional status as part of general health monitoring.
