Are same-day results guaranteed?
No. Most of these tests are reported within about 4 hours of the sample reaching the laboratory, but a later appointment, a busy day at the lab or a sample that needs repeating can mean results arrive the next working day.
Can I get same-day results on a Saturday or Sunday?
On Saturdays, yes: book before 1pm. The laboratory doesn't analyse samples on Sundays, so you can still have your blood taken at the times each clinic offers, and your results arrive the next day.
Can a nurse come to my home and still get same-day results?
Yes, if you book a morning home visit, so the sample still reaches the laboratory in time.
