Arsenic

Arsenic is a toxic metalloid that is found in nature and can also be produced by human activity. It is present in some food and water sources and can be toxic to the body when ingested or inhaled. Long-term exposure to arsenic can lead to a range of health problems, including skin lesions, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and developmental disorders. Acute exposure to high levels of arsenic can lead to symptoms such as vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, and can be fatal in severe cases.
