HDV Ab stands for Hepatitis Delta Virus Antibodies. Hepatitis Delta Virus (HDV) is a virus that can infect the liver and cause a type of liver disease known as Hepatitis D. HDV is an incomplete virus and requires the presence of the Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) to replicate and cause an infection.
