Role of IgM Antibodies
IgM antibodies are the first to appear during an active parvovirus infection. Their presence typically indicates a recent or current infection.

Parvovirus B19 is a widespread human virus associated with several clinical conditions, including:

Erythema infectiosum (commonly known as fifth disease)

Arthropathy (joint pain or inflammation)

Transient aplastic crisis (a temporary halt in red blood cell production.
