FOB test stands for fecal occult blood test. The FOB test is a simple and non-invasive test that involves collecting a small sample of stool and sending it to a laboratory for analysis. The test detects tiny amounts of blood that cannot be seen with the naked eye. If the FOB test is positive, further testing may be needed to determine the cause of the bleeding. This may include additional stool tests, colonoscopy, or other imaging tests.
