The TH1/TH2 Cytokine Ratio Assay measures the balance between two types of immune responses: TH1 and TH2. These immune cells produce different cytokines that regulate inflammation and immune system activity. The assay evaluates cytokines such as IFN-gamma (TH1) and IL-4 (TH2), helping assess the immune system’s response to infections, autoimmune diseases, and allergies.
