Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Profile
This STI Profile screens for the most common sexually transmitted infections to support early diagnosis and timely treatment. It helps identify both current and past infections caused by viral and bacterial pathogens, protecting long-term health and preventing transmission.

Anti-HCV (Hepatitis C Virus) Antibody Test: Detects antibodies to the Hepatitis C virus, confirming exposure or infection either currently or in the past. Chronic infection can lead to serious liver disease if untreated.

Anti-HIV + p24 Antigen Test: A combined test that identifies infection from the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), responsible for AIDS. The inclusion of the p24 antigen allows for earlier detection of recent infections before antibodies appear.

Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) Test: Screens for the presence of the Hepatitis B virus, indicating an active infection. The result helps determine whether the infection is acute or chronic.
